According to the official data, the death toll rose to 155,158 as 78 COVID-19 patients died since Monday morning.
The national capital Delhi, which has been one of the most COVID-19 affected places in the country, has been witnessing comparatively fewer cases over the past several months. As many as 125 new cases and three deaths were registered in the national capital through Monday.
According to the DGHS, 50 booths have been set up in 50 hospitals in Dhaka while a total of 204 teams of health workers will administer the vaccine.
Besides, the Health Minister said, vaccine shots have been provided to 955 hospitals in different parts of the country on the first day of mass inoculation drive and some 2,196 teams are working to make the drive a success.
