The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday summoned three people, including additional chief engineer of Public Works Department Mosleh Uddin, asking them to appear before it on January 16 for interrogation over their alleged link with controversial contractor GK Shamim.
They were summoned in a letter signed by ACC Director Syed Iqbal Hossain to make their depositions on GK Shamim who is now in jail.
Shamim was known as an influential contractor of Sabujbagh, Basabo and Motijheel areas of the capital.
He was arrested along with illegal firearms and a huge amount of money from his Niketan office on September 20 in the drive against casino business and other anti-social business.
Rezaun Mostafiz, Managing Director of National Development Engineers (NDE) and proprietor of M Jamal & Company Jamal Uddin, will have to appear before the ACC on the same date.
