A special session of the 11th parliament will begin at 6pm on Sunday, marking Mujib Borsho.
The session, the fifth of this year, will start 59 days after the last one.
On October 21, President Abdul Hamid called the special session of parliament, the first in its history, exercising power bestowed upon him by Article 72 (1) of the constitution.
The 9th session of the 11th parliament was prorogued on September 10 after only five sittings given the Covid-19 situation in the country.
Six bills were passed and three other bills were placed in the parliament during the session.
Earlier, the president had called the special session for March 22, but it was not held in the wake of Covid-19.
