“Significant development is visible at all levels of education in the last one decade,” he said. “This massive progress in education and achievement of capability made the country’s economic foundation solid and sustainable.”
The minister was speaking at the golden jubilee and re-union programme of Ideal College in the capital, according to a PID handout.
He said the government wants to build the new generation as skilled human resources by providing them time befitting education.
“Proper education can help the nation attain self-reliance,” he said, adding that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman attached top priority to education and made education free of cost.
Bangabandhu also attached importance to education in the constitution as he wanted to develop the nation through education, the minister added.
Dr Razzaque urged students to know the actual history of the War of Liberation and Bangabandhu and attain education of patriotism and values imbued with the spirit of War of Liberation.
