Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Awami League will be stationed at the entry points of Dhaka city to resist the sit-in programme of BNP.
"No mercy will be shown to the BNP and leaders and activists of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League and affiliated organizations will station at Demra, Jatrabari, Babu Bazar, Shyampur and Kamlapur on Saturday to resist them," Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League Office Secretary Md Riaz Uddin told media on Friday.

Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League will monitor the overall issue, he added.
Meanwhile, Road, Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the “game is on,” and they will give fitting responses to Tarique Rahman, against vote theft, Hawa Bhaban and the “bogus” one-point demand.

He made the remarks while addressing the peace rally at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka on Friday afternoon.
Earlier, BNP announced a five-hour sit-in programme in all important entry points of the capital on Saturday to press home their one-point demand.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the program from the party’s grand rally in the city’s Naya Paltan area on Friday.
