Covid-19 has crawled its way into the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), with Minister Group Dhaka’s left-arm pacer Isuru Udana testing positive for the virus on Friday.
The Dhaka team management said that the
Sri Lankan cricketer would remain in isolation "till he tests negative for Covid". "For now, he will be under observation of the event medical team."

Isuru underwent the Covid test on Thursday and the result came out on Friday.
Dhaka has played five matches so far. Of the five, it has won two and endured three defeats. In the latest match, Dhaka beat Sylhet Sunrisers by nine wickets riding on a hundred by Tamim Iqbal.
In the next match, Dhaka will take on Comilla Victorians on February 1 in Chattogram. The Victorians have played two matches so far.
