The FIFA legend Julio Cesar along with FIFA official Miguel Filipe Augusto landed at 5 pm at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here.
The Brazilian legend will pass a busy schedule on Thursday and attend several programs during his two-day visit before leaving Dhaka on Friday at 1 pm.
Julio Cesar will pay the homage by placing wreaths at the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at historic Dhanmondi 32 in Dhaka and will meet the press there at 11:30 am.
Later, the former Brazil goalkeeper will meet the members of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and members of the Swadhin Bangla Football team at 1:30 pm at the BFF house in Motijheel, will address a press conference there at 3:30 pm and will witness the second semifinal match of Bangabandhu Gold Cup between Bangladesh and Burundi at 5 pm on the day.
The 40-year-old Cesar played 87 international matches for Brazil from 2004 to 2014. He was selected for three FIFA World Cups in 2006, 2010, 2014 and two Copa America in 2004 and 2011.
Besides, he was also the member of Italian club Inter Milan, which clinched the UEFA Champions League 2009-10 and the FIFA Club World Cup 2010 titles.
Cesar also won Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year title in both 2009 and 2010 and won the Golden Glove award in the Confederations Cup 2013.
