Altogether 2,093 among 5,129 infected policemen have recovered from coronavirus as of Monday.

As of Saturday morning, 4,703  members of Bangladesh Police have been infected by coronavirus, sources at the police headquarters said.

Cabinet secretary, chiefs of three services and Inspector General of Police (IGP) on Tuesday separately paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the evening.

As coronavirus situation has been worsening in the country the number infected policemen rose to 3,574 as of Saturday.
