“Rain or thundershowers with lighting flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna division,” the Met Office said in a bulletin.
The same has been forecast for “one or two places” over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Barishal divisions.
Temperature during the day and night may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The occurrence of rain and thundershowers may increase in the next two days, the Met Office forecast said.
More rough weather will be an unwelcome development for the farmers who are busy harvesting paddy. This could damage the crops and hinder harvest.
