It is essential to take healthy foods and drinks at sehri, or sahur, as it is the meal that stores energy for long hours and helps continue the fast. Fruit Cube Salad Recipe

Fruit cube salad is only eye-catching to look at but it is delicious, healthy and a creative recipe also.

Ingredients
½ kg watermelon, 2 large bananas, 1 pineapple, 1 large apple, ¼ cup marshmallow

For garnishing

mint leaves, crushed nuts, sesame seeds, and cinnamon

Instructions
First, wash the fruits, peel them off, and cut them into cubes. Make sure you use a sharp knife for the fruits. Marshmallows will add a soft texture (sweetness) to the finished cube. The cubes will be around 2.5cm each. This step is a little bit tricky but cutting well-shaped cubes is what makes the whole cube work well.

Make one row consisting of three alternating cubes so that no adjacent cubes are the same fruit and the base will have four sides of three cubes on each side. To complete the cube, make two more layers (same). Top with a mint leaf, crushed nuts, sesame seeds, and cinnamon. Enjoy the amazing fruit cube salad.

Chicken Kebab Recipe

Ingredients
300 gms chicken mince, 50 gms onion, 50 gms tomatoes, 30 gms coriander leaves, 50 gms green capsicum, 20 gms green chilli, 5 gms salt, 20 ml oil, 20 gms cashew, 20 gms almonds, 10 gms mint, 5 gms red chilli powder, five gms masala powder, 5 gms ginger garlic paste, 3 gms cumin powder, 10 ml lemon juice, 10 ml fresh cream, 5 ml kewra water

Instructions
First, take a blender and put mince chicken, onion, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, lemon juice, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, fresh cream, kewra water, cashew, and almonds and blend nicely.

Put the mince mix on wooden skewers. Now chopped onion, capsicum, and coriander leaves on a plate. Enclose these chopped vegetables around the kebabs and bake them in the oven at 180 degrees for eight to ten minutes. Your Chicken Kebab is ready.

Oats Kheer Recipe

Kheer is the most admired dessert and oats are one of the most chosen and popular ones to prepare healthy kheer.

Ingredients
1 cup oats, half litre milk, sugar (optional), 6 dates, 7 almonds, 3 cardamoms, one banana, 7 raisins, 1 cup mixed fruits (optional)

Instructions
First, cook oats for about 5 minutes. Next, take a pan and put milk, sugar, cardamom, dates, almonds and raisins and let the mixture boil for about 5 to 6 minutes. Now mix oats and cook them boil as long as it becomes thick. Add mixed fruits when the kheer is ready to enjoy.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe

The strawberry banana smoothie is an easy, wholesome recipe that you can make from fresh and simple ingredients. It’s creamy, sweet, and healthy and can be the perfect smoothie for seheri.

Ingredients
1 large banana, 8 strawberries, 80 g yoghurt (plain), ½ cup almond milk, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)

Instructions
First, take a blender and add the milk, yogurt, vanilla, and maple syrup. Blend properly. Cut the strawberries. Peel the banana and cut the banana into pieces. Now, add these pieces of fruit to the blender and grind again as long as the mixture becomes smooth. Take in a glass and enjoy.

Prawn with Green Mango Recipe

Ingredients
300g prawns (deveined and cleaned), 3 tbsp kashundi, 1 green mango (grated), 5 green chillies, half tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, salt and sugar (as required)

Instructions
First, clean the prawns and marinade salt and a pinch of turmeric powder for some time. Next, heat oil in a pan and then add the prawns, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and green chillies. Cook for about two minutes. Now mix the grated raw mango and salt and cook for extra 2 minutes. Add the kashundi and 1 cup of water. Cook as long as you get a thick gravy coating the prawns.

Cucumber lentil Recipe

Ingredients
1 cucumber, 1 cup red lentils, ¼ tsp ground garlic, ½ tsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp sliced onions, 2 green chilies, pared, 1 tbsp oil, salt ( as required)

Instructions
First, wash and peel off the cucumber. Cut the cucumber into pieces. Clean the lentils and strain. Now take a pan and add all the ingredients omitting the onion, chili, and oil. Pour 3-4 cups of water, cover the pan, and cook as long as the lentils and cucumber are cooked properly.

Next, mix green chilies and boil for 2 minutes. Now heat oil in another pan, fry the onion, and pour in the lentil. Enjoy with boiled rice or roti.

Vegetable mishmash Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup eggplant (thickly sliced), ½ cup carrots (sliced), 1 cup cauliflower (pieces), ½ cup cabbage (thickly chopped), ½ cup beans, 1 cup pumpkin (pieces), 1/3 cup radish (cut into cubes), 1 tsp ginger paste, ½ tsp panch phoron, 2 dry red chilies, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp ghee, salt and sugar (as required)

Instructions
First, wash the vegetables before cutting them into small pieces. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the panch phoron and dry red chilies. When they smell, add the ginger paste, 1 tablespoon of water, and salt. Cook until the water dries.

Then mix the cabbage, radish, carrots, beans, and turmeric. Cook for 3-4 minutes covering the pan. Next, add the rest of the vegetables and cook for 8-10 minutes. Add ½ cup water if required and add sugar and salt to adjust the taste. Serve with rice or roti these healthy vegetables.
