Anti-Corruption Commission ( ACC) on Tuesday filed a case against Syed Nasir Uddin Ahmed, manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, for allegedly acquiring illegal assets.
Deputy Assistant Director of the ACC Head Office Ferdous Rahman filed the case at the ACC Integrated District Office, Dhaka-1 today.
The case alleges that Syed Nasir Uddin Ahmed committed a punishable offense under sections 26 (2) and 26 (1) of 2004 as he did not mention the information of TK 1,1672140 and failed to show any source of TK 67,84515.
Earlier, on April 2, 2019, the commission issued an order for the submission of details of all movable / immovable assets , liabilities, sources of income and their acquisitions in the name of himself, his wife and his dependents.
Accordingly, he submitted the statement of assets to the Anti-Corruption Commission on May 5, 2019.
