Star-studded Bashundhara Kings dropped their first point in the competition with the draw at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
However, they maintained their solo lead in the league table securing 22 points from eight matches.
And Sheikh Jamal slipped to the third spot with 17 points from seven outings, playing one match fewer than Kings and Dhaka Abahani.

In the day's another match, six times BPL champions Dhaka Abahani advanced to the second slot in the league table, crushing Arambagh 4-0 at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Motiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
Brazilian forward Francisco Torres struck twice in the 31st and 43rd minutes for Abahani (2-0) while Afgan defender Masih Saighani netted the third goal for The Sky Blue Brigade in the 60th minute (3-0).
Abahani widened their margin with the own goal of Arambagh's Australian defender Bradie Smith in the 88th minute (4-0). Bradie was trying to foil an attempt of Abahani midfielder Dipok Roy.

In the day's other match, Saif Sporting Club beat Sheikh Russel 2-1 at the floodlight Bangabandhu National Stadium in the evening.
After the defeat, Sheikh Russel went down to fourth place in the league with their previous credit of 16 points from eight encounters while Saif remained at fifth place securing 13 points from seven matches.
Mohammed Abdullah put Sheikh Russel KC ahead in the 20th minute (1-0) while Maraz Hossain Rafi equalised for Saif in the 57th minute (1-1).

However, Uzbek midfielder Sirozhiddin Rakhmatullave scored the match-winning goal for Saif in the 74th minute (2-1).
