After the match, three-time BPL Football champion Sheikh Jamal DC toppled the six-time champion Dhaka Abahani bagging full 15 points from straight five league matches. Sheikh Russel KC remained at the fourth place with their previous credit of 13 points from six outings.
Star studded Bashundhara Kings comfortably dominated the league with all-win run securing full 18 points from six matches while Dhaka Abahani went down to the third slot with 14 points from six matches.

In the day's match, Sheikh Jamal DC led the first half by 2-0 goals. Gambian forward Omar Jobe, who scored the first hattrick in the ongoing league, struck twice in the 45th and 59th minute.
Gambian booters Suleiman Sillah and Solomon King added two more goals for Sheikh Jamal in the 38th and 74th minutes respectively.
Nigerian winger Ugochukwu Moneke and Kyrgyzshtan booter Bakhtiyar Duyshobekov scored one goal each for Sheikh Russel KC in the 69th and 82nd minutes respectively.

In the day's other match, Federation Cup runners-up Saif SC returned to winning run in the league defeating all-losers Arambagh KS by 3-2 goals at the Bir Shreshta Motiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Saturday.
With the day's feat, Saif SC advanced to the fifth place securing 10 points from six matches while Arambagh KS are yet to open the account and remained at bottom after their five matches.
Nigerian defender Kenneth Ikechukwu struck twice in the 6th and 59th minutes while Sajjad Hossain netted the other goal for Saif SC in the 70th minute.
