Royal Enfield 350 is set to be launched in July 2024, hitting the roads of Bangladesh as the first 350cc bike. The launch will showcase the four distinct series of this two-wheeler — Classic, Bullet, Hunter, and Meteor, all of which have already gained a reputation in the global market. IFAD Motors will handle all manufacturing locally, as well as sales and distribution.

Let's delve into the features and probable pricing of the Royal Enfield 350 models, as these motorbikes make their debut on the roads of the country.

Features of Royal Enfield Classic 350

The Classic 350A brings a masterful fusion of the manufacturer's illustrious heritage and cutting-edge technology. The air-cooled single-cylinder and 349cc engine justify the model as an exemplary motorcycle.

Generating 20.2 bhp (brake horsepower) at 6,100 rpm (revolutions per minute) and a torque of 19 lb-ft (pounds force foot) at 4,000 rpm, the Classic 350 ensures a balanced and powerful ride, whether navigating urban traffic or cruising on the open road.

Drawing inspiration from Enfield's timeless tradition, the design exudes classic charm. The steel frame provides a sturdy foundation, while the ergonomically designed hand grips, handlebars, and adjustable foot pegs ensure comfort for both rider and passenger.

Ride quality is enhanced with a front suspension featuring a 41 mm telescopic fork and a twin-side swing arm at the rear, guaranteeing a smooth and enjoyable journey. This series holds the record for the longest-running motorcycle design in history. Enfield of India was established in 1955 in collaboration with the parent company, Enfield Cycle Company, and Madras Motors of India. The legacy of Enfield Cycles, based in Madras (now Chennai), continues with the Bullet series Assembly. Retaining its historic charm, the Bullet's timeless design effortlessly captivates any rider. Notably, its exotic design and USB charging port add to its allure.

Featuring comfortable handling, suspension, and a dual-seat setup, navigation feels intuitive whether riding solo or with a companion. The generously padded seat, standing at 805 mm high, ensures comfort for both rider and passenger alike.

Designed with urban environments in mind, this series boasts a steel frame that provides robust support for both rider and passenger. Telescopic forks in the front suspension and twin side swing arms in the rear suspension ensure smooth navigation through city streets.

With a manageable weight of 181 kg and a seat height of 31.1 inches (or 790 millimetres), the Hunter accommodates adult riders comfortably. Safety is paramount, thanks to hydraulic disc brakes with front and rear ABS, offering peace of mind while on the move.

The Hunter-350 features a digital instrument panel and the convenience of a power outlet, hard side case, and storage cover. Completing its modern appeal are tubeless tires mounted on aluminium wheels, ensuring reliability and style in equal measure.

Features of Royal Enfield Meteor 350

The Meteor-350 shares many similarities with its counterparts. Its 349cc single-cylinder engine remains consistent, delivering 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm and 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm.

Featuring a vast array of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories (GMA) with a durable and polished finish, the Meteor 350 offers a touch of personalization. The seamless synergy between the engine and gears ensures a velvety-smooth riding experience, even at speeds ranging from 90 to 110 km per hour, where vibrations are kept at bay.

Built on a sturdy steel frame and equipped with front and rear suspension featuring telescopic forks and twin side swing arms respectively, the Meteor 350 promises stability and comfort on any terrain.

Dual seats positioned at a height of 30.1 inches (or 764.5 mm) from the ground, coupled with hydraulic disc brakes with ABS on both front and rear wheels, guarantee complete safety for riders and passengers alike.

Boasting digital components such as a speedometer, tachometer, trip odometer, compass, and navigation system, the Meteor 350 sets a new standard in world-class amenities, enhancing the overall riding experience to unparalleled heights.

Price Ranges of Royal Enfield 350 Models

In neighbouring India, the Classic series is priced between Rs 1,93,080 and Rs 2,24,755, depending on the colour options and ABS variants. Converted to Bangladeshi Taka (Rs 1 = BDT 1.32), this ranges from approximately BDT 2,55,174 to BDT 2,97,036.

The Bullet models, now available in several new colours, range from around Rs 1,73,562 to Rs 1,97,436, equivalent to roughly BDT 2, 29,379 to BDT 2,60,931.

Indian customers have the option of colourful Hunter models, priced between Rs 1,49,900 to Rs 1,74,655, approximately BDT 1,98,107 to BDT 2,30,823.

The Meteor-350, ideal for leisurely cruising, is attracting attention with prices ranging from Rs 2,05,900 to Rs 2,29,900, (corresponding to BDT 2,72,117 to BDT 3,03,835).

In Bangladesh, motorcycle prices can be influenced by market conditions and the dollar rate. According to Ifad Motors, if the dollar rate remains almost BDT 125, the Royal Enfield-350 series could be priced between BDT 5 and BDT 6 lakh.
