Let’s turn to the rear cameras first. Its 12 MP wide sensor (f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.8-inch lens size, 1.25 micron) can take good images holding the sharpness, details, and color accuracy at a decent level. Unlike the competitor Realme phones, the ‘normal mode’ captures of Oppo A52 are not washed up with imposed brightness. Under ‘Portrait mode’, this phone can skillfully blur the background and maintain the balance between accuracy and brightness. Furthermore, the Portrait mode has a wider focus without blurring the side portions.

But considering its price-tag, the picture quality is fine. Besides these, Oppo A52 comes with a macro and a depth camera both featuring 2MP at F/2.4 aperture. The night-mode feature works okay but not so overwhelming. You can get better photos by applying the LED flash. Other essential features like HDR and panorama are also present in this phone.
