Like the other Phones of the Samsung Galaxy M series, M21 comes with a plastic frame-built body with a plastic back. Its glass-built front screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Though bearing a big battery this Galaxy phone appears with a manageable size (6.26 x 2.96 x 0.35-inches) and weight (188g). The nicely curved design makes this phone look smart and comfortable to grip.
On the right edge, you get the volume rocker and power button. The SIM card slot is placed on the left side. In this phone, you can insert two nano SIMs with a MicroSD memory card. A secondary noise cancellation mic sits on the upper edge. On the bottom edge, M21 offers a USB C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a speaker grill, and the primary microphone. The performance of the loudspeaker is good.
On the rear-end M21 has a camera bump holding a triple camera set up with an LED light. Its physical fingerprint sensor is also placed on the backside. This sensor may take a moment to respond. This Smartphone is available in two amazing colors: Midnight Blue and Raven Black.

Display
Samsung Galaxy M21 is blessed with a 6.4-inch full HD Plus display. You may know that the Super AMOLED panel is a flagship-level feature offered by luxurious phones. Thanks to Samsung for introducing this premium feature in its low budget Smartphone Samsung Galaxy M21. Its bezels look average with an 84.2% screen-to-body ratio. Samsung boasts that M21 has 420 nits brightness. It can perform average in direct sunlight.
M21’s resolution capacity (1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratios, and 403 PPI densities) is good enough to please you while watching video contents. While competitor Realme 6 is offering a 90HZ refresh rate at a lower price range, M21’s 60HZ may disappoint you. However, the lack of a higher refresh rate won’t prevent you from enjoying the content on this Smartphone. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection is good, but 5 would have been better.

Camera
On the rear-end, Samsung Galaxy M21 has a triple camera (48MP+8MP+5MP) series. The primary sensor features 48MP wide shooter at f/2.0 aperture. The picture quality of its main rear camera is attractive with proper sharpness, details, and color vibrancy.
Like other phones, M21’s low-light images are not pleasing like its day-light captures. It has a night mode feature to improve the picture quality in low light situations. However, still you can see noises after zooming. But the auto-focusing feature of this Smartphone may not work efficiently all the time. However, if compared with other phones under a similar price-range, M21’s prime shooter does a good job.
Galaxy M21 is provided with an 8MP (f/2.2 aperture) wide-angle sensor. The dynamic range is average. Considering the price range, this sensor performs average. Like the primary shooter counterpart, the wide-angle shooter also performs well if there is ample light.
Furthermore, utilizing M21’s 5MP (f/2.2 aperture) Depth sensor, you can take nice portraits under the portrait mode. In photos, the details are found quite average, but the edges of the subject are good. Unlike the mid-budget counterpart M31, the budget phone M21 does not have any macro shooter.
With the rear sensors, you can shoot a maximum of 4K videos at 30fps without any stabilization facility. If you choose the 1080p resolution at 30fps, you can enjoy super stabilization mode with the gyro-EIS feature. The video quality seems average in both modes.
For the selfie lovers, Samsung has provided a 20MP front sensor featuring F/2.0 aperture with HDR feature. You can take good selfies showing nice details and edges. Interestingly, M21’s front shooter allows you to take photos at a wide-angle. It is a bonus for those who love to take group-selfies. But the color accuracy of photos may distort a bit from the real-life objects. With the front camera, you can shoot videos at 1080p at 30fps.

Performance
Samsung Galaxy M21’s CPU is built with an octa-core processor featuring four cores (Cortex-A73) at 2.3 GHz clock speed and four cores (Cortex-A53) at 1.7 GHz clock speed. It carries Exynos 9611 (10nm) chipset coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU which we have also seen in its superior counterpart Galaxy M31.
Samsung has applied Exynos chipset in its other Smartphone series. It performs well for regular usage, social media navigation, and multi-tasking. While playing games you can experience some lags. But still, you can do casual gaming without facing significant heating issues. However, Galaxy M21 is not recommended for the heavy gamers who desire to play PUBG or similar games smoothly without lags in high settings.
By virtue of Samsung’s One UI 2 operating system on top of Android 10, Galaxy M21 delivers a seamless user experience without the interference of any advertisements. You can easily uninstall the unnecessary apps to get speedier performance. M21 is available in two variants 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. This phone is equipped with UFS 2.1 technology.

Battery
Samsung Galaxy M21 out-wins many expensive competitors with its 6000 mAh battery. The heavy users can use this phone for about a day, while moderate usage can keep it alive for about 2 days. With the provided 18W fast charger, you can fully recharge this phone within 2.5 hours. However, a powerful charger could have reduced the charging duration.
Networking
Recently people are talking about the networking issue of the Samsung Galaxy M21 Smartphone. On test, it is found that for GP Sim the network bars are less in comparison with Airtel or Robi SIM. The Wi-Fi signals are also low than other phones. The 4G connectivity may not work properly. Though the ear-piece is working well, the sound quality of calls may show some distortions to the receivers. However, the network antenna of this phone may have some issues.
To combat these issues you can optimize the setting options of Galaxy M21. Navigate to the ‘connection’ option from settings. Then you will find an option ‘Network Operators’. Now activate the option ‘Select automatically,’ if the default setting is showing ‘Select Manually.’ After this optimization, Samsung Galaxy M21 is expected to overcome the network issues.
