Infinix Hot 10 Review
Are you looking for a value-for-money Smartphone for regular use? The Infinix mobile phones are getting popular for offering smart features under budget price. On the 17th of October 2020, Infinix launched its latest Smartphone Infinix Hot 10. Recently this phone is officially available in our country. Stay with us to know the Infinix Hot 10 price in Bangladesh with the full review.
Infinix Hot 10: Review of Key Features
The dimensions of Infinix Hot 10 Smartphone are 171.1 x 77.6 x 8.9 mm (6.74 x 3.06 x 0.35 inches). Though bearing a comparatively bigger display with a standard battery, this device looks slim and weighs only 195 grams. Infinix deserves credit for managing weight-balance on this phone. The small camera cut out on the left side, makes the display spacious.
This phone is built with a plastic frame with a plastic back. The smart gradient design makes its back-panel look smart. It would be wise to apply the provided back cover, to save the glossy back from scratches. On the backside, Hot 10 bears a fingerprint scanner that responds quickly.
This phone bears a triple-slot tray from a dual-SIM card and an external memory card. Here you get a 3.5mm audio jack with a micro USB port. However, the USB-type C port was expected on this phone.
This Infinix Smartphone appears with a massive display of 6.78-inch. This display features an IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution – 720 x 1640 pixels with ~ 264 PPI densities. The viewing angles are good, but sharpness may feel a bit low due to low PPI density. Provision of Full HD display would have been better; but usually, most of the companies are offering HD display under this price range.
In the direct sunlight, you may experience some difficulties in viewing the contents. But in the indoor ambient, you can comfortably watch video contents, or attain virtual classes/meetings on this big screen. The touch screen displays responses nicely. The display is surrounded by slim bezels except for the bottom.
Infinix Hot 10 is provided with an Octa-core processor designed with Cortex A75 and A55 cores featuring the utmost clock speed of 2.0GHz. Here Mediatek Helio G70 (12 nm) chipset has been applied. This processor is widely used in budget phones. It works well for day-to-day use. The GPU unit carries a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 graphics card.
Infinix Hot 10 has been globally launched in several variants, such as 64GB by 3GB RAM, 64GB by 4GB RAM, 128GB by 4GB RAM, and 128GB by 6GB RAM. Currently, the 128GB by 4GB RAM variant is officially available in our country. The 4GB RAM serves great for regular multi-tasking and apps handling. Its massive internal storage of 128GB – supported by eMMC 5.1 technology – would be great for storing essential files as well as video contents.
Its Helio G70 processor serves well for low to medium-level gaming. On this phone, the PUBG gaming interface suggests ‘HD’ graphics at a ‘High’ frame rate by default. But the gamers can choose ‘Smooth’ graphics at ‘Ultra’ frame rate. The other popular multiplayer games like COD, Freefire, Asphalt 9, etc are fairly playable on this device.
Hot 10 phone runs by the XOS 6.0 operating system on top of Android 10. This UI is well optimized. But, here you may experience Ads and bloatware that is really very disappointing! You can turn off some Ads from the setting options!
Infinix Hot 10 lacks any secondary noise-canceling microphone. Its bottom-firing speaker performs quite average. The sound quality may irritate you at the maximum setting. The call quality of this Smartphone is good. The Hot 10 phone is provided with the necessary sensor, including Fingerprint, gyro, accelerometer, compass, proximity, etc.
Infinix Hot 10 holds a quad-camera set up on its backside. The rear cameras include a 16MP primary sensor, 2MP macro sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and QVGA AI sensor. On the front side, it has an 8MP selfie shooter.
The primary sensor captures decent photos. The color-vibration, sharpness, details, and dynamic range are satisfactory. The portrait and macro sensors offer average performance. The most fascinating camera-feature of the Infinix Hot 10 phone is its night mode performance.
By virtue of the QVGA AI low light sensor, this phone captures outstanding pictures in low light conditions. You can hardly find such amazing photos from the competitor phones. You can shoot a maximum of 2K videos at 30fps. Furthermore, 1080p footage option is available at 30fps.
The 8MP selfie camera takes average quality photos. The color accuracy of the skin tones appears close to natural. The images show added softness and less sharpness. In the portrait shots, the edge detection capacity seems good, but the background is a bit washed out. The performance of the dynamic range is below satisfactory. In low light situations, the selfie-shooter takes standard quality photos. Like the rear camera, 2K and 1080p footages at 30fps can be captured with the front camera.
Infinix Hot 10 is powered by Li-Po 5200 mAh non-removable battery. For heavy usage, this battery can support for a day. If used moderately, this phone stays alive for about 2 days. Though Hot 10 supports an 18W charger, the box carries a 10W charger. This cost-saving strategy is humorous. It takes about 3 hours to fully recharge this phone with the provided 10W charger.
Infinix Hot 10 Smartphone’s 4GB by 128GB variant is currently available at BDT 12,990 in Bangladesh. The price may change depending upon the circumstances.
Infinix Hot 10 offers some good features like a smart design, a big display, a decent rear camera with excellent night mode, adequate internal memory, and standard battery backup. On the downside, it lacks a Full HD display and USB Type-C port. The quality of the front camera and outdoor brightness could have been better. However, considering the price range Infinix Hot 10 offers a good package.
